Due to the popularity of Annie Jr. the show has been extended for an extra performance on Sunday, February 21st at 6 p.m. Tickets available for purchase by calling the box office at 781-0001. They are $8 for adults and $4 for students.
Tickets sold-out fast as soon as they were available for purchase almost two months ago. Most people credit this to the new marquee located on the west side of the Franke Center. The Franke Center added the extra performance when they found out that some of the parents and relatives had not had the time, due to very busy schedules, to call the box office for their ticket reservations. We also had many community patrons calling for reservations. The production staff is very excited about this performance as more than 50 students take the stage this weekend.

Annie Jr., one of the world's best-loved musicals, based on the popular comic strip heroine will be singing and dancing its way to town for an extra performance Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 years and under. Please call the box-office at 269-781-0001 to reserve your tickets. The Franke Center accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover for your convenience.
Annie tells the story of a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver (Daddy) Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy. The "Jr." version of Annie is shorter but still contains perennial favorites such as Tomorrow, Hard Knock Life and NYC.
The Franke Center is located in the downtown Marshall area across the street from Oaklawn Hospital and next to the parking ramp.
